Graham Whiteley 1947 - 2005

Graham Whiteley

It is with great regret we announce the death of Graham Whiteley on Friday 7th January 2005

Graham who was only 58 years old suffered from bone, lung and bowel cancer. Mercifully, although he was in great pain it was a short illness.

Graham was a very good friend and keen motorcyclist who was a member of the Indian fraternity.  He owned many Indians.

Graham will be sadly missed.  He leaves wife Kate and two children.

Mike de Bidaph

(Thank you to everyone for your kind messages to Graham's family).

Graham Whiteley

Born l947-Halifax

Died 2005 - Bognor Regis

I first met Graham when our company required accurate wood models to enable us to produce the cavities on a mould tool we were making. This was some 30 years ago! Had spoken to Graham on the phone and arranged to see him at his factory at Tangmere, with the necessary technical details over we got to talking about various topics until we got round to bikes. That was the start of a friendship that was to last until his untimely death this January. Although I only met up with Graham from time to time he was always still very keen on bikes. We would discuss his latest restoration project at length! Will always remember Graham as someone you could trust, with a wealth of knowledge on most subjects. Easy going with a shy sense of humour. Our thoughts and sympathy go out to his wife and family in their loss.
