Arthur

It's with great sadness that I have to report the death of Arthur ‘Grey Owl’ Weare. Arthur was our oldest member at 95 years old. He was a keen Indian enthusiast who owned a 1941 military Scout in immaculate condition. He passed it on to his son Fred a few years ago when he thought he was to old to ride. Arthur was a charming person with countless tales of his adventures with his Indians, Fred has saved much of his fathers stories and we will be recounting them in future magazine issues. Our heartfelt sympathies go out to Fred and Penny.
